A wild collected form from the Russian far east this is a useful front of the border perennial. Greyish foliage flushed red and heads of red flowers to 25cm. Drained soil in sun.
New foliage in the spring purple-red flushed becoming greyish green during summer when it flowers. As the weather cools in autumn the foliage then flushes red before winter.
