Striking bright green deeply three-lobed leaves appear in spring with similarly coloured exotic looking spathes to 30cm. Long drip-tips! Good soil in shade.
The leaves have a distinct marginal vein that sets them apart from other similar plants. The first flowers appear with the leaves in April or early May and as long as there is no shortage of water new flowers can continue to be produced well into summer.
From China, Korea and Japan.
Synonyms include Pinellia pinnatisecta and Arisaema tripartita.
