Probably a Himalayan collection this has neat clumps of fresh green trifoliate leaves and clouds of rich ruby red flowers for weeks in summer to 40cm. Ordinary soil, sun.

We first obtained this as Potentilla atrosanguinea var agyrophylla but it doesn't seem close enough to that desirable form to retain the name.  Long lived and easy to grow.

Possibly the same as the plant named Potentilla 'Chadwell's Tibetan Velvet'.
