An excellent tall, elegant form collected in Korea. Snowy white caterpiller-like flowers on wiry stems to 1.5m. Best in good soil in full sun.
Clumps of chunky ferny foliage (a bit coarser than the normal form) provide a welcome break of leaf texture in the border before the strong flower stems ascend in summer. Sanguisorba 'Korean Snow' makes a lovely combination with some of the tall feathery grasses like Calamagrostis 'Karl Foerster', and brighter flowers such as Veronicastrum.
Tolerant of a wide range of soils and even some shade but it's best to grow it in a good soil that won't dry out in full sun.
