Striking spires of clean pink flowers rise above lightly bronzed foliage in spring. Very floriferous and a good doer making a low evergreen carpet. 15-20cm.
The best pink form that we've seen, 'Julia' produces taller, denser spikes and a lot more of them. The pink is attractive and the whole plant makes a lovely feature as a low groundcover in a shady spot. Ideal under deciduous shrubs or a small tree.
Named for and found by Julia Leslie, introduced by Monksilver, ?2000s.
Meehania urticifolia£4.50
An odd scrambling Ajuga relative with mid green foliage and largish spikes of mauve-blue flowers in spring. Charming groundcover for shade. 30cm.
