Large semi-double white flowers with the outer sepals merging into green and white variegated bracts that form a frilly ruff around the flower. 15cm. Decent soil in shade.
There are nearly as many forms of Anemone nemorosa like this as there are snowdrop varieties but 'Multiplicity' does stand out with good sized flowers that open out well and the outer bracts have attractively divided lobed margins.
As with most semi-double or double Wood Anemones it can take 2-3 years to settle down and produce the fully correct flower type so don't keep moving it around!
From the USA apparently.
