A recent selection of this natural hybrid with larger flowers of a gentle creamy yellow in March and April. Dark foliage. Good soil in part shade. 15cm.

Anemone ranunculoides seems to prefer slightly sunnier and drier conditions than A. nemorosa and this trait is carried over to A. x lipsiensis which does best here under the south side of deciduous trees or shrubs where it gets a bit of summer warmth but still plenty of moisture in the winter.

Found just a few hundred metres from the Sarastro nursery in Austria.
