An excellent, floriferous florists selection of this American prairie plant. Spires of purple flowers in summer and good seedheads later. Drained soil in sun. 1m.

A bulbous perennial that is quite happy appearing amongst ornamental grasses and other perennials to give a valuable vertical element without taking up extra space in the border. An ideal companion to many grasses and similar plants such as Crocosmia for colour contrast!
