A fantastic Crocosmia relative with sprays of pleated sword-like leaves and masses of arching stems with lots of soft pink flowers from summer into autumn. Drained soil in full sun. 90cm.

One of those plants I'd hate to be without yet it isn't that well known even amongst experienced gardeners.  By far the hardiest and easiest member of the Tritonia, this is an easy to grow addition to mixed plantings and associates particularly well with late summer ornamental grasses and the blue flowered asters.

Best in a drained but not too poor soil in full sun, it'll be happy in most sunny places as long as it isn't too wet, especially in winter.

Syn. Tritonia rosea, Crocosmia rosea.
