Beautiful, large white flowers with no hint of colour except the pale yellow stamens held on good stems over clumps of large, deeply divided leaves. Ordinary soil in sun. 90cm.

There are several white flowered forms of meadow cranesbill grown but 'Galactic' is arguably the best if you want a clear white flower for that cool, fresh look.  As with all forms of Geranium pratense powdery mildew can be a problem after flowering so it is best to cut the plant back to ground level once the flowers have finished and you will usually get a second flush of flowers and clean foliage.

Probably the white flowered form described in the early 20th centuary as Geranium pratense album.

Technically this plant's full name is Geranium pratense ssp. pratense f. albiflorum 'Galactic', but that wouldn't fit on our labels!
