Useful, usually evergreen, groundcover with light rose-pink flowers from April. Will even work in dry shade with good soil preparation. 30cm.
Good, weed excluding groundcover among shrubs and larger herbaceous perennials in sun or shade. Vigorous but easy to contain as it is very shallow rooting.
The species is found in southern Europe and this cultivar was collected by Walter Ingwersen on Mt Koprivnak in Montenegro in 1929 and introduced by his nursery Birch Farm in the 1930-31 catalogue as Geranium macrorrhizum 'Ingwersen's Var'.
