A lovely form with strongly bronzed leaves and dark brown stems supporting big spikes of pinkish flowers with green tips! Drained, good soil in full sun. 75cm?

This is more brown leaved than the commonly grown 'Sparkling Burgundy' (which is really purple!) and the flowers are much lighter and held in bigger, taller spikes.

Many people find that Eucomis are fine to grow in the garden all year round and the success of this is likely more dependant on drainage than temperature, so somewhere with very good drainage in full sun should be fine.

If growing in a container take it inside a frost-free place in early winter when the leaves have just died off and keep dry until mid-late spring. Slowly increase water and move outside hardening off until in full gorwth by early June.
