Bright, rich magenta pink flowers on this evergreen groundcover for drained soil in sun or part shade.  Good autumn/winter foliage colour and green new growth in spring.  25cm.

One of the older more reliably evergreen forms of this useful southern European species but rarely seen nowadays.  We have had it as a good carpet under the cut leafed elderberry, Sambucus nigra 'Laciniata', for many years.

Introduced by Blooms of Bressingham in 1992 from a wild collection in Bulgaria.
